退款政策

本政策说明 fcontext 如何处理退款、预付余额、订阅取消、超额用量、税费与账单服务商争议。

1. Overview

fcontext provides request-based market research and agent workflow services. Paid access may include prepaid credits, recurring subscriptions, included monthly usage, and overage requests that draw from a prepaid balance.

This Refund Policy applies to purchases made for the fcontext service unless a separate written agreement or mandatory law says otherwise. It should be read together with the Terms of Service and the checkout or billing portal terms shown during purchase.

2. Plans, Usage, and Billing

Current plans, prices, and included usage are described on the pricing page. Pricing is usage-based: every API request, including each tool call made through an MCP server, counts as one billable unit unless the pricing page says otherwise.

  • Credits is pay-as-you-go. You prepay a balance, and each request draws from it.
  • Build and Scale are subscriptions that include a set amount of monthly usage. When you exceed your included usage, additional requests draw from your prepaid balance.
  • If your prepaid balance reaches zero, further billable requests may be declined until you add funds.

3. Non-Refundable Prepaid Balances

Prepaid balances, credits, top-ups, included usage, overage usage, and consumed requests are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.

Prepaid balances expire twelve (12) months after purchase. Expired balances are not refundable or redeemable for cash unless required by applicable law.

4. Subscription Cancellations

You may cancel a paid subscription through the billing portal where available. Cancellation stops future renewals, but it does not automatically refund past charges, current billing-period fees, used requests, or unused included monthly usage.

After cancellation, your plan access may continue until the end of the paid billing period unless the billing portal or applicable law provides a different result. Any remaining prepaid balance remains subject to the non-refundable balance and expiration rules in this policy.

5. Overage Usage and Declined Requests

Overage requests are charged when they are recorded by the service or billing provider. Once recorded, overage usage is not refundable unless we determine there was a billing error or the law requires a refund.

If a request is declined because your balance is zero, you are not charged for that declined request. You may need to add funds or choose another plan before billable requests resume.

6. Taxes and Payment Provider Fees

Prices do not include taxes unless expressly stated. You are responsible for taxes, duties, bank fees, card fees, foreign exchange charges, and similar amounts connected to your purchase.

Creem acts as the hosted checkout and subscription management provider. Refund timing, invoice corrections, payment method handling, and charge disputes may also be subject to Creem, card network, bank, or payment processor rules.

7. Billing Errors and Required Refunds

If you believe you were charged in error, contact support promptly with the account email, invoice or checkout identifier, charge date, and a short explanation. We may review service logs, billing-provider records, and metered usage to evaluate the request.

If we confirm a billing error, duplicate charge, unauthorized charge caused by our systems, or refund obligation required by applicable law, we will provide the legally required remedy or a commercially reasonable correction.

8. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach the Terms of Service, fail to pay amounts due, or if your use poses a security, legal, or operational risk.

When access ends, unused prepaid balances remain non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. Termination does not waive amounts already due for subscriptions, overage requests, taxes, or other charges.

9. Price and Plan Changes

We may change prices and plans on a going-forward basis. Changes will not affect usage you have already paid for, but future renewals, top-ups, and overage rates may use the then-current pricing shown during purchase or account management.
